Due to the preparation of the Christmas concert, we will be unable to use the gym this week.  So... bring your tobaggan from home and be prepared to have some winter fun!!

Author Visit

On Thursday, October 28th, the Grade 7/8's will have an opportunity to meet Shane Peacock, a well known Canadian author.  In preparation, please research Mr. Peacock and his writing.  What would you like to find out about him?  What questions would you like to ask?

October News!

It's hard to believe that we are already moving into the second month of the school year!  I enjoyed meeting with many of you at the Open House earlier last month.  During the month of September, students have become familiar with classroom rules and expectations, set personal goals for the upcoming school year, participated in the school track meet, and had a great time at Outdoor School! A BIG thank you to all of the parent volunteers who were able to help out... we could not do it without you!

I hope you enjoy the Thanksgiving long weekend!

Back To School

Welcome back to the 2010- 2011 school year!  My name is Laura Rhead and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to teach your son/daughter this year.  This year is going to be jammed packed with new learning experiences, new friends, and lots of laughs!  Your child's school years are very important and I am excited to be a part of it.  I feel together we will make this an exciting and successful year.
